Now therefore, O Lord our God, bring us salvation from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone are the Lord God."


His heel will be held in a snare, and thirst will rage against him.


Because of the misery of the destitute and the groaning of the poor, now I will arise, says the Lord. I will place him in safety. I will act faithfully toward him.


Protect me from the snare that they have set up for me and from the scandals of those who work iniquity.


He will not see death, when he sees the wise dying: the foolish and the senseless will perish together. And they will leave their riches to strangers.


Unto the end. For her who pursues the inheritance. A Psalm of David.


He has opened a pit and enlarged it. And he has fallen into the hole that he made.


The Lord has been clothed with strength, and he has girded himself. Yet he has also confirmed the world, which will not be moved.

then you are ensnared by the words of your own mouth, and taken captive by your own words.
