And he added, "My word is for you." She said to him, "Speak." And he said:


And they come to you, as if the people were entering, and my people sit before you. And they listen to your words, but they do not do them. For they turn them into a song for their mouth, but their heart pursues their own avarice.


The son honors the father, and the servant his master. If, therefore, I am Father, where is my honor? And if I am Master, where is my fear? says the Lord of hosts to you, O priests, who despise my name. And you have said, "In what way, have we despised your name?"


And quickly drawing close to Jesus, he said, "Hail, Master." And he kissed him.


Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and perform many powerful deeds in your name?'


And a certain leader questioned him, saying: "Good teacher, what should I do to possess eternal life?"


But when Jesus realized their thoughts, responding, he said to them: "What are you thinking in your hearts?


And responding, Jesus said to them: "It is not those who are well who need a doctor, but those who have maladies.


Yet truly, he knew their thoughts, and so he said to the man who had the withered hand, "Rise up and stand in the middle." And rising up, he stood still.


Then the Pharisee, who had invited him, upon seeing this, spoke within himself, saying, "This man, if he were a prophet, would certainly know who and what kind of woman is this, who is touching him: that she is a sinner."


"A certain creditor had two debtors: one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.


You call me Teacher and Lord, and you speak well: for so I am.


But Jesus realized that they wanted to question him, and so he said to them: "Are you inquiring among yourselves about this, that I said: 'A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me?'


Now we know that you know all things, and that you have no need for anyone to question you. By this, we believe that you went forth from God."


He went to Jesus at night, and he said to him: "Rabbi, we know that you have arrived as a teacher from God. For no one would be able to accomplish these signs, which you accomplish, unless God were with him."
