In Gibeon, YHWH appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask for what I should give you.”


and that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities and in Jerusalem, saying, “Y’all go out to the mountain and bring back olive branches, branches of wild olive, myrtle branches, palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make temporary shelters, as it is written.”

My beloved is mine, and I am his. He browses among the lilies.

Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.


“I saw in the night visions, and there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of humanity, and he came even to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him near before him.


Daniel spoke and said, “I saw in my vision by night, and suddenly the four winds of the sky were stirring up the great sea.


The man who stood among the myrtle trees answered, “They are the ones YHWH has sent to go back and forth through the earth.”


They reported to the Angel of YHWH who stood among the myrtle trees, and said, “We have walked back and forth through the earth, and now all the earth is at rest and in peace.”


On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of YHWH came to the prophet Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, saying,


“Awake, sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is close to me,” says YHWH Almighty. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones.


He said, “Now y’all listen to my words. If there is a prophet among y’all, I, YHWH, will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.


When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked and saw a man stood in front of him with his sword drawn in his hand. Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us, or for our enemies?”


“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: Thus says the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks among the seven golden lampstands:


I looked—and there was a white horse! The one who sat on it held a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out as a conqueror in order to conquer.


Then another horse came out, a fiery red horse one, and the one who sat on it was granted to take peace from the earth, so that people should butcher one another. He was given a large sword.
