But remember me when it is well with you. Please show kindness to me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house.


For you will eat from the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you.


But if any man thinks that he is behaving inappropriately toward his virgin, if she is past the bloom of youth, and it seems necessary, let him do as he wishes. He doesn’t sin. Let them get married.


You are to keep ʜɪꜱ statutes and ʜɪꜱ commandments that I command you today, so that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which YHWH your God gives you for all time.


Therefore I want younger widows to marry, bear children, keep the household, and give the adversary no occasion for reproach.


But anyone who doesn’t provide for their own, especially their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.


May YHWH grant that each of y’all find rest in the house of a new husband.” Then she kissed them, and they wept aloud.


So she stayed close to the maidens of Boaz, to glean to the end of barley and wheat harvests, and she lived with her mother-in-law.


Now Boaz, whose maidens you worked with, is our kinsman. Look, tonight he will be winnowing barley on the threshing floor.
