With the east wind, you break the ships of Tarshish.


The fish that were in the river died. The river became foul. The Egyptians couldn’t drink water from the river. The blood was throughout all the land of Egypt.


for all the ships of Tarshish, and for all pleasant imagery.


The burden of Tyre. Y’all should howl, O ships of Tarshish! For it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in. It is revealed to them from the land of Cyprus.


It will happen that in all the land,” says YHWH, “two-thirds of it will be cut off and die; but a third will be left in it.


I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them like silver is refined, and will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say, ‘It is my people;’ and they will say, ‘YHWH is my God.’”


Its tail swept one third of the stars from the sky and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth it could devour her child.


The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became like the blood of a dead person, and every living soul in the sea died.


The third angel trumpeted, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of water.


The fourth angel trumpeted, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars, so that one third of them were darkened. The day wouldn’t shine for one third of it, and the night was the same.


The first trumpeted, and there was hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was thrown to the earth. One third of the earth was burned down, and one third of the trees were burned down, and all the green grass was burned down.


The four angels who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year were freed so that they could kill one third of the humans.


By these three plagues, one third of the humans were killed: by the fire, the smoke, and the sulfur, which proceeded out of their mouths.
