3 Another angel came and stood over the altar, holding a golden censer. He was given much incense so that he could give it toward the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne.

the cups, the snuffers, the basins, the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, of the temple, of gold.


Let my prayer be set before you like incense; the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.


He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;


Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.


The altar was of wood, three cubits high, and its length two cubits. Its corners, its base, and its walls were of wood. He said to me, “This is the table that is before YHWH.”


I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and he said, “Strike the tops of the pillars, that the thresholds may shake. Break them in pieces on the head of all of them. I will kill the last of them with the sword. Not one of them will flee away. Not one of them will escape.


For from the rising of the sun even to its going down, my name will be great among the nations. In every place incense and a pure offering will be offered to my name, for my name will be great among the nations,” says YHWH Almighty.

The whole crowd of people were praying outside at the hour of incense offering.

Now when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one held a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.


When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been butchered because of the Word of God, and because of the testimony they had of the Lamb.


I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,


The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended from the angel’s hand before God.


Then the angel took the censer, filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it on the earth. There were thunders, sounds, lightning strikes, and an earthquake.


The sixth angel trumpeted. I heard a sound from the horns of the golden altar which is before God,
