Then John testified, “I saw the Spirit descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.


So the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to testify about it.


The person who saw this has testified, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, so that y’all may believe.


This is the disciple who testifies about these things and wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.


Truly, I tell you, we speak what we know and testify to what we have seen, but y’all don’t accept our testimony.


For you will be his witness to all humanity of what you have seen and heard.


Now get up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you to appoint you a servant and a witness both of what you have seen and when I will appear to you,
