In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.


“Isn’t God in the heights of heaven? See the height of the stars, how high they are!


Can ʜɪꜱ armies be counted? On whom does ʜɪꜱ light not arise?


Even if the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in ʜɪꜱ sight;


“Remember that you magnify ʜɪᴍ work, about which poeple have sung.


Hᴇ appointed the moon for seasons. The sun knows when to set.


YHWH’s works are great, pondered by all those who delight in them.


Y’all praise ʜɪᴍ, sun and moon! Y’all praise ʜɪᴍ, all the shining stars!


The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows ʜɪꜱ handiwork.


By the word of YHWH the heavens were made: all the stars by the breath of ʜɪꜱ mouth.


The heavens are yours. The earth also is yours, the world and its fullness. You have founded them.


When he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, he gave Moses the two tablets of the covenant, stone tablets, written with God’s finger.


Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is God’s finger;” but Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them, as YHWH had spoken.

When you lift up your eyes to the sky and see the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the army of the sky, do not be drawn away and worship them and serve them. YHWH your God has allotted them to all the peoples under the whole sky.
