Psalm 71:1

He trusted in YHWH, the God of Israel, so that after him was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among them that were before him.


They were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them; for they cried to God in the battle, and he answered them because they put their trust in him.


Those who trust in YHWH are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.


Happy is the one who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in YHWH, his God,


They cried to you, and were delivered. They trusted in you, and were not disappointed.


Israel will be saved by YHWH with an everlasting salvation. Y’all will never be ashamed or humiliated, to ages everlasting.


Let them be disappointed who persecute me, but don’t let me be disappointed. Let them be dismayed, but don’t let me be dismayed. Bring on them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.


even as it is written, “Look, I am setting a stumbling stone and a rock of offense in Zion, and no one who believes in him will be disappointed.”


For this is upheld in Scripture, “See, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious. The one who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
