Don’t let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.


For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me.


Because look, they set an ambush for my soul. Powerful men are against me, not for my disobedience, nor for my sin, YHWH.


My eyes waste away from sorrow. They grow old because of all my enemies.


But this happened so that the word written in their law may be fulfilled, ‘They hated me without a cause.’


For ʜᴇ made him who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.


He “committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.”


“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. “By his wounds, y’all were healed.”


For Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring y’all to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit.
