Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. This is David’s city.


When YHWH saw that they humbled themselves, the word of YHWH came to Shemaiah, saying, “They have humbled themselves. I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance, and my wrath won’t be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.


Those who trust in YHWH are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.


Blessed be YHWH from Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Y’all praise YHWH!


YHWH Almighty is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.


Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.


You are beautiful as Tirzah, my darling, lovely as Jerusalem, as awe-inspiring as an army with banners.


All that pass by clap their hands at you. They hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, “Is this the city that men called ‘The perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth’?”
