Then YHWH may establish ʜɪꜱ word which he spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your children are careful of their way, and walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, you will never fail to have,’ he said, ‘a man on the throne of Israel.’


But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of YHWH, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He did not turn from the sins of Jeroboam, which he caused Israel to sin.


and with them Heman and Jeduthun and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to YHWH, because his lovingkindness endures forever;

How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.


those who say, “With our tongue we will prevail. Our lips are our own. Who is lord over us?”


Set a watch, YHWH, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips.


Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.


My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from ʜɪᴍ.


My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.


Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit.
