That night, the Angel of YHWH went out and struck one hundred eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. When men arose early in the morning, there were all the dead bodies!


Elisha prayed, and said, “YHWH, please open his eyes to see.” YHWH opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw that the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha.


In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul.


You hem me in behind and before. You laid your hand on me.


Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”


For ʜᴇ will put ʜɪꜱ angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.


“Y’all must not take advantage of any widow or orphan.


If you take-take your neighbor’s garment as collateral, you must restore it to him before the sun goes down,


My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not hurt me, because innocence was found in me before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm.”


I will encamp around my house against the army, that no one pass through or return; and no oppressor will pass through them any more: for now I have seen with my eyes.


See that y’all don’t despise one of these little ones. For I tell y’all that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.


The poor man died, and he was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.


Aren’t they all spirits of deacon-work, sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
