Joab came into the house to the king, and said, “Today you have shamed the faces of all your servants who today have saved your life, and the lives of your sons and of your daughters, and the lives of your wives, and the lives of your concubines.


The Jews had light, gladness, joy, and honor.


Look at me! Answer me, YHWH, my God. Give light to my eyes, or else I will sleep in death;


In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul.


For you light my lamp, YHWH. My God shines in my darkness.


Yes, no one who waits for you will be shamed. They will be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.


I lie down and sleep. I awaken because YHWH sustains me.


For with you is the spring of life. In your light we will see light.


Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”


Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares ʜɪꜱ way so that I will show God’s salvation to ʜɪᴍ.”

Light is planted for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.


“Y’all look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.


Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will be in awe and grow larger; because the riches of the sea will be turned to you. The wealth of the nations will come to you.
