Psalm 18:9

He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet.


Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before ʜɪᴍ. It is very stormy around ʜɪᴍ.


Y’all sing to God! Y’all sing praises to ʜɪꜱ name! Y’all exalt the one who rides on the clouds: For YHWH is ʜɪꜱ name! Rejoice before ʜɪᴍ!


A fire goes before ʜɪᴍ, and burns up ʜɪꜱ adversaries on every side.


All of Mount Sinai smoked, because YHWH descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.


Lift up y’all’s eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens will vanish away like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a garment. Its inhabitants will die in the same way, but my salvation will be forever, and my righteousness will not be abolished.


Look, YHWH will come with fire, and ʜɪꜱ chariots will be like the whirlwind; to render ʜɪꜱ anger with fierceness, and ʜɪꜱ rebuke with flames of fire.


YHWH will roar from Zion, and thunder from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth will shake; but YHWH will be a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.


“But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.


Now when it was noon, darkness came over the whole land for three hours.


Jesus answered him, “You don’t know what I am doing now, but you will understand later.”


“There is no one like God, Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens for your help, in his excellency on the skies.


Then his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”


But the day of the Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be destroyed in a blaze of fire, and the earth and its deeds will be burned up.


Then I saw a great white throne and one seated on it. The earth and the heaven fled from his face, no place was found for them.
