I was also perfect toward him. I kept myself from my iniquity.


Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to prayer that is made in this place.


now let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, that you may listen to the prayer of your servant that I am praying before you at this time, day and night, for the children of Israel your servants, confessing the sins of the children of Israel which we have committed against you. Both I and my father’s house have sinned.


although there is no violence in my hands, and my prayer is pure.


Don’t hide your face from me in the day of my distress. Turn your ear to me. Answer me quickly in the day when I call.


I know that YHWH will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the needy.


I cry with my voice to YHWH. With my voice, I ask YHWH for mercy.


Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.


Hear my prayer, YHWH. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me.


YHWH is near to all those who call on ʜɪᴍ, to all who call on ʜɪᴍ in truth.


YHWH has rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands, ʜᴇ has repaid me.


As soon as they hear of me they will obey me. The foreigners will submit themselves to me.


Vindicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from deceitful and wicked men.


Pay attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for I pray to you.


See, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.


Hᴇ has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, although there are many who oppose me.


Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.


From the end of the earth, I will call to you when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.


But most certainly, God has listened. Hᴇ has heard the voice of my prayer.


YHWH judges the peoples. Vindicate me, YHWH, according to my righteousness and my integrity.


Look on God our shield, look at the face of your anointed.


Hear, YHWH, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.


Hear, YHWH, my prayer. Listen to the voice of my petitions.


For my soul is full of troubles. My life draws near to Sheol.


The Lord said, “Because this people draws near with their mouth and honors me with their lips, but they have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which has been taught;


Yet for all this her treacherous sister, Judah, has not returned to me with her whole heart, but only in pretense,” says YHWH.


‘These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.


Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him, and said about him, “Look, a true Israelite, in whom there is no deceit!”


Beloved, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have confidence before God,
