Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he spoke with him, a pillar of stone. He poured out a drink offering on it, and poured oil on it.


Many sorrows come to the wicked, but lovingkindness surrounds the one who trusts in YHWH.


Let all who serve graven images be shamed, and those who boast in worthless idols. All y’all gods must worship ʜɪᴍ!


“Y’all must be careful to do all things that I have said to y’all. Y’all must not invoke the name of other gods or even let them be heard out of your lips.


Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion. They, they are your lot. You have even poured a drink offering to them. You have offered an offering. Should I be appeased for these things?


“But y’all who forsake YHWH, who forget my holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny;


Whoever kills an ox is like one who kills a man; whoever sacrifices a lamb, like one who breaks a dog’s neck; whoever offers an offering, like one who offers pig’s blood; whoever burns frankincense, like one who blesses an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.


The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the queen of the sky, and to pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.


The grain offering with it is to be two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, a food offering for YHWH for a pleasant aroma; and the drink offering with it is to be a quarter of a hin of wine.


Those who pay attention to worthless idols forfeit the divine love that could be theirs.


so that y’all do not come among these nations, these that remain among y’all. Y’all must not invoke the name of their gods, or swear by them, or serve them, or bow down to them.
