Now for a little moment grace has been shown from YHWH our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a stake in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and revive us a little in our bondage.


He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”


For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.


My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.


Don’t let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.


Don’t let them say in their heart, “Aha! That’s the way we want it!” Don’t let them say, “We have swallowed him up!”


For I said, “Don’t let them gloat over me, or exalt themselves over me when my foot slips.”


Cast your burden on YHWH and ʜᴇ will sustain you. Hᴇ will never allow the righteous to be moved.


Hᴇ alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken.
