Lord, I beg you, let your ear be attentive now to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name; and please prosper your servant today, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.” Now I was cup bearer to the king.


now let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, that you may listen to the prayer of your servant that I am praying before you at this time, day and night, for the children of Israel your servants, confessing the sins of the children of Israel which we have committed against you. Both I and my father’s house have sinned.


Then I answered them, and said to them, “The God of heaven make us prosperous. Therefore we, ʜɪꜱ servants, will arise and build, but y’all have no portion, right, or memorial in Jerusalem.”


YHWH builds up Jerusalem. Hᴇ gathers together the outcasts of Israel.


For ʜᴇ has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, neither has ʜᴇ hidden ʜɪꜱ face from him; but when he cried to ʜɪᴍ, ʜᴇ heard.


Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can’t see. Let their backs be continually bent.


For he will deliver the needy who cry out; the poor, who has no helper.


For the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever.


The glory of YHWH will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together; for the mouth of YHWH has spoken it.”


who confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; who says of Jerusalem, ‘She will be inhabited;’ and of the cities of Judah, ‘They will be built,’ and ‘I will raise up its waste places;’


“Look, the days are coming,” says YHWH, “when the city will be built to YHWH from the tower of Hananel to the gate of the corner.


For YHWH will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, that there is no one remaining, shut up or left at large.


But if y’all will seek YHWH your God from there, you will find ʜɪᴍ when you search after ʜɪᴍ with all your heart and with all your soul.
