YHWH saw that the wickedness of humanity was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of the human heart was continually only evil.


who said to God, ‘Depart from us!’ and, ‘What can the Almighty do for us?’


I will silence whoever secretly slanders his neighbor. I won’t tolerate one who is arrogant and conceited.


For you save the oppressed people, but the arrogant eyes you will bring down.


When you said, “Y’all are to seek my face,” my heart said to you, “I will seek your face, YHWH.”


A revelation is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes.


The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity. There is no one who does good.


They say, “How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”


Pharaoh said, “Who is YHWH, that I should listen to his voice to let Israel go? I don’t know YHWH, and moreover I will not let Israel go.”


A high look and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, is sin.


There is a generation, oh how lofty are their eyes! Their eyelids are lifted up.


lest I be full, deny you, and say, ‘Who is YHWH?’ or lest I be poor, and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.


arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,


Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.


The prideful eyes of humanity will be brought low, human arrogance will be bowed down, and YHWH alone will be exalted in that day.


The look of their faces testify against them. They parade their sin like Sodom. They don’t hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought disaster upon themselves.


Their feet run to evil, and they hurry to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity. Desolation and destruction are in their paths.


I have spread out my hands all day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;


Y’all of this generation, pay attention to the word of YHWH! Have I been a wilderness to Israel? Or a land of thick darkness? Why do my people say, ‘We have broken loose. We will come to y’all no more’?


Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long will your evil thoughts lodge within you?


It will happen at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart, “YHWH will not do good, neither will he do evil.”


Y’all should seek YHWH, all you humble of the land, who have kept ʜɪꜱ ordinances. Y’all must seek righteousness, and y’all must seek humility. Perhaps y’all will be hidden in the day of YHWH’s anger.


For it is from within, out of the human heart, that evil thoughts proceed—sexual sins, murders, thefts,


Therefore, you must repent of this wickedness of yours, and ask the Lord if perhaps the intention of your heart might be forgiven you.


For though they knew God, they didn’t glorify him as God and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless hearts were darkened.


Just as they refused to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not fitting,


remember that at that time y’all were separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.


then your heart might be lifted up in pride and you forget YHWH your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
