An evil speaker won’t be established in the earth. Evil will hunt the violent man to overthrow him.


For in YHWH’s hand there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. Hᴇ pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.


but these lay in wait for their own blood. They lurk secretly for their own lives.


Therefore they will eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own schemes.


The mouth of the righteous is a spring of life, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.


The desire of the righteous is only good. The expectation of the wicked is wrath.


A person will be satisfied with good by the fruit of their mouth. The work of a person’s hands will be rewarded to them.


A person’s stomach is filled with the fruit of their mouth. With the harvest of their lips they are satisfied.


Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit.


For they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.


Y’all have plowed wickedness. Y’all have reaped iniquity. Y’all have eaten the fruit of lies, because you trusted in your way, in the multitude of your mighty warriors.


For the violence done to Lebanon will overwhelm you, and the destruction of the animals will terrify you. For you have shed human blood and done the violence done to the land, to every city and those who dwell in them.


Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples will plunder you because of human blood. For you have done violence to the land, to the city and to all who dwell in it.


For they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this.”
