Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.”


But when Paul noticed that some of them were Sadducees and others were Pharisees, he called out in the Council, “Brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. I am being judged because of the hope and resurrection of the dead!”


Our twelve tribes earnestly serve night and day hoping to attain this promise. It is for this hope that I am being accused by the Jews, King Agrippa!


Since the harbor was not suitable for staying through winter, the majority decided to continue sailing from there, hoping to reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete, facing southwest and northwest, and winter there.


if somehow I might stimulate rivalry among those who are my flesh and save some of them.


But each in order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ’s at his coming.

Instead I beat my body and make it my slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself should not be disqualified.


But I fear that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, so y’all’s minds might be corrupted from sincere and pure devotion to Christ.


For this reason, when I could endure it no longer, I sent to find out about y’all’s faith, for fear that the tempter had somehow tempted y’all, and our labor would have been in vain.


Let no one deceive y’all in any way. For the day will not come until the rebellion comes first, and the human of lawlessness, the son of destruction, is revealed.


Finally the crown of righteousness is reserved for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award me on that day. And not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.


Women received their dead by resurrection. Others were tortured, not accepting their release, so that they might obtain a better resurrection.


The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
