This thing became known to Mordecai, who informed Esther the queen; and Esther informed the king in Mordecai’s name.


Moses said to the children of Gad and the children of Reuben, “Should y’all’s brothers go to war while y’all sit here?


But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a huge millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.


Y’all are to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep,


Now we who have an obligation to carry the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves.


No one should seek their own good, but the good of the other person.


Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I don’t burn with indignation?


We don’t give anyone anything that would cause stumbling, so that the deacon-work will not be discredited.


For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.


However, if y’all fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” y’all are doing right.
