It is because of him that y’all are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,


whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. Everything belongs to y’all,


For we know that if our earthly house, the tent we live in, is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in the heavens, not made by human hands.


Therefore we are always full of courage, knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord.


And so, we are full of courage and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.


I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.


But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.


My expectation and hope is that I will in no way be ashamed, but that with total boldness, Christ will be magnified in my body, now and always, whether by life or by death.


If I continue to live in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet I don’t know which to choose.


I am squeezed between the two! I have a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.


For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.


When Christ, who is your* life, is revealed, then y’all will also be revealed with him in glory.


I heard a voice from heaven saying, “You are to write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “so that they can rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them.”
