Those who come after will be astonished at his day, as those who went before were frightened.


“If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him who hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him


I can count all of my bones. They look and stare at me.


Let the lying lips be mute, which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt.


But in my adversity, they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together. The attackers gathered themselves together against me, and I didn’t know it. They tore at me, and didn’t cease.


The Lord will laugh at ʜɪᴍ, for ʜᴇ sees that ʜɪꜱ day is coming.


For ʜᴇ has delivered me out of all trouble. My eye has seen triumph over my enemies.


My God will go before me with ʜɪꜱ lovingkindness. God will let me look at my enemies in triumph.


My eye has also seen my enemies. My ears have heard of the wicked enemies who rise up against me.


Whoever mocks the poor reproaches his Maker. Whoever is glad at calamity will not be unpunished.


By your servants, you have defied the Lord, and have said, “With the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon. I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees. I will enter into its farthest height, the forest of its fruitful field.


All your enemies have opened their mouth wide against you. They hiss and gnash their teeth. They say, “We have swallowed her up. Certainly this is the day that we looked for. We have found it. We have seen it.”


Rejoice and be glad, daughter of Edom, who dwells in the land of Uz. The cup will pass through to you also. You will be drunken, and will make yourself naked.


You will know that I, YHWH, have heard all your insults which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, ‘They have been laid desolate. They have been given to us to devour.’


As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so I will do to you. You will be desolate, Mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it. Then they will know that I am YHWH.’”


therefore Lord YHWH says: “Surely in the fire of my jealousy I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.”’


Now many nations have assembled against you, that say, “Let her be defiled, and let our eye gloat over Zion.”


As he approached Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it,


Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it boasts of great things. See how a small flame can set a large forest ablaze!


As they speak with high-sounding but empty words, they entice to the desires of the flesh and sensuality, those who are have barely escaped from those who live in error,


These are grumblers and complainers, following after their desires. Their mouths speak proud things, flattering people to gain advantage.


The beast was given a mouth speaking greatness and blasphemy, and it was given authority for forty-two months.


“Y’all must not speak so proudly, Or let arrogant words come from y’all’s mouth, For YHWH is a God of knowledge. By ʜɪᴍ actions are weighed.
