Many people assembled at Jerusalem to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great assembly.


For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover other than the way it is written. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good YHWH pardon everyone


For the king had taken counsel with his princes and all the assembly in Jerusalem to keep the Passover in the second month.


In the second month, on the fourteenth day at evening they are to observe it. They are to eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

Now the Passover of the Jews was near. Many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves.


But each human should examine themselves, and in this way, let them eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
