Then Jacob said to his household, and to all who were with him, “Y’all put away the foreign gods that are among y’all, purify yourselves*, and change y’all’s garments.


Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin.


Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.


YHWH said to Moses, “Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments,


so he will sprinkle many nations. Kings will shut their mouths at him; for they will see that which had not been told them, and they will understand that which they had not heard.


Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long will your evil thoughts lodge within you?


I will sprinkle clean water on y’all, and y’all will be clean. I will cleanse y’all from all your* filthiness and from all your* idols.
