“‘This is the law of the animal, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth,


This is the law of the contamination of mildew in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp or woof, or any leather article, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.


“‘This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which one is to offer to YHWH:


“Speak to the children of Israel and tell them: ‘If any man’s wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him,


then the man is to bring his wife to the priest and bring an offering for her: one tenth of an ephah of barley meal. He must not pour oil or frankincense on it, for it is a meal offering of jealousy, a meal offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to memory.


The priest is to require her to take an oath and tell the woman, “If no man has lain with you, and if you haven’t gone aside to uncleanness, being under your husband’s authority, be free from this water of bitterness that brings a curse.


But if the woman has not defiled herself and is clean, then she is to go free conceive offspring.


or when the spirit of jealousy comes on a man, and he is jealous of his wife, then he is to put the woman before YHWH, and the priest will execute on her all this law.
