Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like the feast that is in Judah, and he went up to the altar. He did so in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves that he had made, and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places that he had made.


They kept the feast of booths, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the ordinance, as the duty of every day required;


They found written in the law how YHWH had commanded by Moses that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month;


Also day by day, from the first day to the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. They kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according to the ordinance.


And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you sow in the field; and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when you gather in your labors out of the field.


“You are to observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of harvest at the year’s end.


“‘“In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month, during the feast, he is to provide the same thing for seven days. He will make the same provision for sin offering, the burnt offering, the meal offering, and the oil.”


In the first day y’all are to hold a holy assembly. Y’all must not to do any regular work.

Y’all are to present a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to YHWH: thirteen young bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect;

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
