In the first day there is to be to y’all a holy convocation, and in the seventh day a holy convocation; no kind of work is to be done in them, except that which every man must eat, only that may be done by y’all.


And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you sow in the field; and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when you gather in your labors out of the field.


“You are to observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of harvest at the year’s end.


“You are to speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When y’all have come into the land which I am giving to y’all, and reap its harvest, then y’all are bring the sheaf of the first fruits of y’all’s harvest to the priest.


Y’all are to present a burnt offering to YHWH for seven days. On the seventh day there will be a holy assembly. Y’all must not do any regular work.’”


On the first day of the month, there is to be a holy convocation. Y’all must do no regular work.


But y’all must present a burnt offering for a pleasant aroma to YHWH: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old;


“‘On the first day of the seventh month, the month, y’all are to have a holy convocation; and y’all must not do any regular work. It is a day of blowing of trumpets for y’all.


But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruit of those who are asleep.


According to his purpose, he brought us forth by the word of truth, so we would be a kind of first fruits among ʜɪꜱ creation.
