YHWH smelled the pleasant aroma. YHWH said in ʜɪꜱ heart, “I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake because the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth. I will never again strike every living thing, as I have done.


and to offer all burnt offerings to YHWH on the Sabbaths, on the new moons, and on the set feasts, in number according to the ordinance concerning them, continually before YHWH;


Jehoiada appointed the officers of the house of YHWH under the hand of the Levitical priests, whom David had distributed in the house of YHWH, to offer the burnt offerings of YHWH, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as David had ordered.


He also appointed the king’s portion of his possessions for the burnt offerings: for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in YHWH’s law.


Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak stood up with his brothers the priests and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his relatives, and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.


In spite of their fear because of the peoples of the surrounding lands, they set the altar on its base; and they offered burnt offerings on it to YHWH, even burnt offerings morning and evening.


We, the priests, the Levites, and the people, cast lots for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, according to our fathers’ houses, at times appointed year by year, to burn on YHWH our God’s altar, as it is written in the law;


Y’all blow the ram’s horn at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.


You are to observe the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib (for in it you came out of Egypt), and no one is to appear before me empty.


You are to burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to YHWH; it is a pleasant aroma, a food offering for YHWH.


My bread also which I gave you, fine flour, oil, and honey, with which I fed you, you even set it before them for a pleasant aroma; and so it was,” says Lord YHWH.


I will accept y’all as a pleasant aroma when I bring y’all out from the peoples and gather y’all from the lands where y’all have been scattered. I will be proved holy through y’all in the sight of the nations.


It will be the prince’s duty to give the burnt offerings, the meal offerings, and the drink offerings, in the feasts, and on the new moons, and on the Sabbaths, in all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel. He is to prepare the sin offering, the meal offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.”

“But y’all profane it by saying, ‘The table of the Lord is polluted, and its fruit, its food is contemptible.’

then if it was done unintentionally without the knowledge of the congregation, then all the congregation is to offer one young bull for a burnt offering as a pleasant aroma to YHWH, with its meal offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin offering.


and y’all will make a food offering to YHWH of the herd, or of the flock—a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow, or as a free will offering, or at y’all’s appointed feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to YHWH—


and for the drink offering you are to offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a pleasant aroma to YHWH.


“‘In addition to y’all’s vows and free will offerings, y’all are to offer these to YHWH in y’all’s set feasts for y’all’s burnt offerings, meal offerings, drink offerings, and peace offerings.’”


But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul must be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of YHWH in its appointed season, that man will bear his sin.


Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of YHWH in its appointed season among the children of Israel?”


For we are to God a pleasing fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.


Y’all walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.


But I have received everything, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what y’all sent. It is a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and pleasing sacrifice to God.
