Moses did as YHWH commanded. They went up onto Mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.


“Avenge the children of Israel on the Midianites. Afterward you will be gathered to your people.”


Now if perfection was possible through the Levitical priesthood—for on the basis of it the people received the law—what further need was there for another priest to arise, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?
