12 YHWH said to Moses and Aaron, “Because neither of y’all believed in me enough to treat me as holy in the sight of the children of Israel, y’all will not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”
12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.
12 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, Because you did not believe in (rely on, cling to) Me to sanctify Me in the eyes of the Israelites, you therefore shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them. [Ps. 106:32, 33.]
12 And Jehovah said unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed not in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.
12 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you didn’t trust me to show my holiness before the Israelites, you will not bring this assembly into the land that I am giving them.”
12 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not believe me, so as to sanctify me before the sons of Israel, you shall not lead this people into the land, which I will give to them."
12 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron: Because you have not believed me, to sanctify me before the children of Israel, you shall not bring these people into the land, which I will give them.
They rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. As they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Y’all listen to me, Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem! Establish your trust in YHWH y’all’s God and y’all will be established! Establish your trust in ʜɪꜱ prophets, and y’all will succeed.”
I will accept y’all as a pleasant aroma when I bring y’all out from the peoples and gather y’all from the lands where y’all have been scattered. I will be proved holy through y’all in the sight of the nations.
I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which y’all have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am YHWH,” says Lord YHWH, “when I am proven holy through y’all before their eyes.
Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what YHWH spoke of, saying, ‘I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” Aaron held his peace.
“Aaron will be gathered to his people, for he will not enter into the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because y’all rebelled against my word at the waters of Meribah.
because in the strife of the congregation in the wilderness of Zin, y’all rebelled against my command to honor me as holy at the waters before their eyes.” (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)
He said to them, “Because y’all have so little faith. For truly I tell y’all, if y’all have faith as small as a grain of mustard seed, y’all can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for y’all.”
Now listen: because you didn’t believe my words, which will be fulfilled at their appointed time, you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens.”
YHWH said to him, “This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your offspring.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you must not go over there.”
Furthermore YHWH was angry with me because of y’all, and swore that I should not go over the Jordan, and that I should not go in to that good land which YHWH your God gives you for an inheritance.
“Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go across this Jordan, you and all these people, to the land which I am giving to them, even to the children of Israel.
But sanctify Christ as Lord in y’all’s hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks y’all to give a reason for the hope that is in y’all. But do this with gentleness and reverence,
