Whoever carries any part of their carcass is to wash their clothes and be unclean until the evening.


The one who burns them must wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he may come into the camp.


“‘Every person, whether native-born or foreigner, anything found dead or torn by wild animals, must wash their clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening. Then they will be clean.


This is a perpetual statute for them. The one who sprinkles the water for impurity must wash their clothes, and the one who touches the water for impurity will be unclean until evening.


Then the priest must wash his clothes and bathe his flesh in water. Afterward he may come into the camp, and the priest will be unclean until the evening.


“A man who is clean is to gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up outside of the camp in a clean place. They are to be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for use in water for cleansing impurity. It is a sin offering.
