“Moreover, concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he comes out of a far country for your name’s sake


The same law applies to the one who is born at home and to the foreigner residing among y’all.”


“This is to be a permanent statute for y’all: on the tenth day of the seventh month, y’all are to humble your* souls and do no kind of work, both the native-born or a foreigner who resides among y’all;


“‘Every person, whether native-born or foreigner, anything found dead or torn by wild animals, must wash their clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening. Then they will be clean.


“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If anyone sins unintentionally, in any of the things which YHWH has commanded not to be done, and does any one of them,


For the assembly is have one statute for y’all and for the foreigner who lives among y’all, a permanent statute throughout y’all’s generations. The foreigner and y’all and will be the same before YHWH.


The priest will make atonement for the person who errs by sinning unintentionally before YHWH. When he makes atonement, that person will be forgiven.


“‘But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, blasphemes YHWH. That soul must be cut off from among his people.


“‘If a foreigner lives among y’all and desires to keep the Passover to YHWH, then they are to do so according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance. Y’all are to have one statute, both for the foreigner and for anyone who is born in the land.’”


but the one who didn’t know and did things worthy of punishment will receive a light beating. To whomever much is given, much will be required; and from the one who was entrusted with much, even more will be asked.


All Israel, with their elders, officers, and judges, stood on both sides of the ark before the Levitical priests, who carried the ark of YHWH’s covenant, the foreigner as well as the native; half of them in front of Mount Gerizim, and half of them in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of YHWH had commanded at the first, that they should bless the people of Israel.
