25 YHWH came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was on him, and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but they did so no more.

When the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho facing him saw him, they said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.


You gave also your good Spirit to instruct them, and didn’t withhold your manna from their mouth, and gave them water for their thirst.


Hᴇ spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept ʜɪꜱ decrees and the statutes that ʜᴇ gave them.


Yet now, if you will, forgive their sin—and if not, please blot me out of your book which you have written.”


YHWH descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of YHWH.


For the cloud of YHWH was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.


Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying, “Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his Holy Spirit among them?”


Seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel stood before them. In the middle of them Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan stood, every man with his censer in his hand; and the smell of the cloud of incense went up.


I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit which is on you, and will put it on them. They will share the burden of the people with you, so that you don’t have carry it alone.


YHWH came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the Tent, and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forward.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.


For no prophecy ever came by human will, but humans spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.


The Spirit of YHWH came on him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and YHWH delivered Cushan Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand. His hand prevailed against Cushan Rishathaim.


When they came there to the hill, a band of prophets met him, and the Spirit of God came mightily on him, and he prophesied among them.
