David said to the Gibeonites, “What should I do for y’all? How should I make atonement, so that y’all will bless YHWH’s inheritance?”


What will I give to YHWH for all ʜɪꜱ benefits toward me?


All the rich of the earth will eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust will bow before ʜɪᴍ, even those who can’t preserve their soul.


Let’s enter ʜɪꜱ presence with thanksgiving. Let’s exalt ʜɪᴍ with songs!


Come y’all, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before YHWH, our Maker,


Y’all’s lamb must be without defect, a male a year old. Y’all are to take it from the sheep or from the goats.


You are to observe the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib (for in it you came out of Egypt), and no one is to appear before me empty.


The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to YHWH, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.


To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to YHWH than sacrifice.


Lebanon’s cedars are as sufficient for burning as nothing, and its animals are as sufficient for a burnt offering as nothing.


To what purpose does frankincense from Sheba come to me, and the sweet cane from a far country? Y’all’s burnt offerings are not acceptable, and y’all’s sacrifices are not pleasing to me.”

“Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you and no secret troubles you, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and its interpretation.


“To you, king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father the kingdom, and greatness, and glory, and majesty.


He was driven from the sons of men, and his heart was made like the animals’, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the sky, until he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and that he sets up over it whomever he will.


They will go with their flocks and with their herds to seek YHWH, but they won’t find him. He has withdrawn himself from them.


Yes, though y’all offer me burnt offerings and meal offerings, I will not accept them; And I have no regard for the y’all’s peace offerings of fattened animals.

Then a man came to him and said, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to have eternal life?”

Now, a legal expert stood up to test Jesus, saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”


Jesus answered them, “Very truly I tell y’all, y’all are seeking me, not because y’all saw miraculous signs, but because y’all ate the loaves and were satisfied.


She followed behind Paul and us, shouting, “These men, who are proclaiming to y’all a way of salvation, are servants of the Most High God!”


He brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”


Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”


For this reason I kneel before the Father,


Indeed, every priest stands day after day, serving and offering the same sacrifices over and over, which can never take away sins.


Samuel said, “Does YHWH delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as obeying YHWH’s voice? Look! To obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen is better than the fat of rams.
