eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,


Woe to you who destroy, but you weren’t destroyed, and who betray, but nobody betrayed you! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betrayal, you will be betrayed.


Therefore YHWH says: “Y’all have not obeyed me and proclaimed liberty, every person to their sibling and neighbor. Look! I now proclaim liberty to y’all,” says YHWH, “to the sword, to plague, and to famine! I will make y’all a horror among all the kingdoms of the earth.


“I will repay Babylon and all the inhabitants of Chaldea for all the evil that they have done in Zion in y’all’s sight,” says YHWH.


For the day of YHWH is near all the nations! As you have done, it will be done to you. Your deeds will return upon your own head.


“For if y’all forgive other humans for their sins, your* heavenly Father will also forgive y’all.


He said to them, “Y’all must discern what y’all are hearing. By whatever measure y’all measure, it will be measured to y’all; and more to y’all.


“Y’all should give, and it will be given to y’all. An excellent measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For the measure y’all use will be the measure y’all get back.”


This is the point: the person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously.


For judgment is without mercy to anyone who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.


Y’all are to pay back to her like she paid. And y’all should double it and according to her deeds. In the cup that she poured, y’all pour her a double portion.
