As they were coming out, they found a man from Cyrene named Simon, and they forced him to carry his cross.


If anyone wants to sue you and take your coat, let them have your cloak as well.


Give to the one who asks you, and don’t turn away the one who desires to borrow from you.


They forced someone who was passing by, coming from the country, Simon of Cyrene (the father of Alexander and Rufus) to go with them that he might carry the cross.


As they led him away, they seized Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and they laid the cross on him to carry it behind Jesus.


For the love of Christ compels us, since we have concluded this: that one died for all, therefore all died.
