A stone was brought, and laid on the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that nothing might be changed concerning Daniel.


and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had cut out in the rock. Then he rolled a large stone in front of the entrance of the tomb and went away.


Pilate said to them, “Y’all take a guard, and y’all go make the tomb as secure as you can.”


Now while the women were going, some of the guards went into the city and told the chief priests everything that had happened.


Suddenly, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky and came and rolled away the stone from the door and sat on it.


Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back, though it was massive.


On the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.


Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, having this inscription: “The Lord [YHWH] knows those who are ʜɪꜱ ,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from injustice.”


Joshua said, “Y’all roll large stones to cover the cave’s entrance, and post men by it to guard them.


He threw him into the abyss, closed it, and sealed it over him, so that he could not deceive the ethnic groups until the thousand years were completed. After this, he must be freed for a short time.
