The angel of God said to me in the dream, ‘Jacob,’ and I said, ‘Here I am.’


God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream of the night, and said to him, “Be careful that you don’t speak to Jacob either good or bad.”


It is in the power of my hand to hurt y’all, but the God of y’all’s father spoke to me last night, saying, ‘Be careful that you don’t speak to Jacob either good or bad.’


He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy.


After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.


Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.


He said, “Now y’all listen to my words. If there is a prophet among y’all, I, YHWH, will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.


But when he had considered this, look, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because the one who has been fathered in her is from the Holy Spirit.


But when Herod was dead, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying,


But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in the place of his father, Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew into the region of Galilee,


For he knew that they had handed him over out of envy.


So when Pilate saw that nothing was being gained, but that instead a disturbance was starting, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this righteous person. Y’all take care of it.”


saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” But they said, “What is that to us? You take care of that yourself.”


Surely we are punished justly, getting what we deserve for our actions, but this man has done nothing wrong.”


When the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous man.”


When Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called “The Stone Pavement” (which in Hebrew is “Gabbatha”).


On an appointed day, Herod put on his royal apparel, sat on the throne, and delivered a public address to them.


When Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews united with one mind to attack Paul and brought him before the place of judgment,


So he drove them away from the judgment seat.


Then all the Greeks seized Sosthenes, the leader of the synagogue, and beat him in front of the judgment seat. But Gallio didn’t care about any of these things.


But Paul said, “I am standing at Caesar’s tribunal, where I should be tried. I have done no wrong to the Jews, as you yourself know very well.


When they had assembled here, I did not delay the case, but on the next day took my seat on the tribunal and ordered the man to be brought in.


After spending eight or ten days with them, Festus went down to Caesarea. The next day he took his seat on the tribunal and ordered Paul to be brought in.


He “committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.”


My little children, I write these things to y’all so that y’all may not sin. If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous one.
