If anyone says anything to y’all, y’all say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them at once.”


Neither are y’all to be called guides, for y’all have one guide, the Christ.


But y’all are not to be called ‘Rabbi’, for y’all have one teacher, the Christ, and all y’all are siblings.


The disciples did as Jesus had instructed them, and they prepared the Passover.


“Y’all know that Passover is coming in two days, and the Son of Humanity will be handed over to be crucified.”


Immediately, Judas went to Jesus and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him.


While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue ruler’s house, saying, “Your daughter is dead. Why bother the teacher anymore?”


Every day I was with y’all in the temple, and y’all never laid a hand on me. But this is y’all’s hour, and this is the reign of darkness.”


When she had said this, she went away and called Mary her sister, saying secretly, “The Teacher is here and is calling you.”


Jesus answered them, “The time has come for the Son of Humanity to be glorified.


It was just before the feast of the Passover. Jesus, knowing that the time had come when he would depart from this world to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.


After Jesus said these things, he lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son so that your Son may glorify you,


Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means, “Teacher!”).


At this, they tried to take him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.


Therefore Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come, but y’all are ready all the time.


Y’all go up to the feast. I am not going up to this feast, because my time is not yet fully come.”
