and refused to obey. They weren’t mindful of your wonders that you did among them, but hardened their neck, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But you are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and didn’t forsake them.


For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, abundant in lovingkindness to all those who call on you.


Better is a dinner of herbs, where love is, than a fattened calf with hatred.


I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride. I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Y’all eat, friends! Y’all drink and be drunk with love!


Again he sent another group of servants larger than the first, and they treated them the same way.


But they paid no attention and went away, one to their farm, another to his business.


“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those who were invited weren’t worthy.

Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to y’all first. Since indeed y’all reject it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we are now turning to the ethnic groups.


He who didn’t spare ʜɪꜱ own Son, but gave him up for us all, how would he not also with him graciously give us all things?
