He told them, ‘Y’all go and work in the vineyard too, and I will pay y’all whatever is right.’


About five in the afternoon, he went out and found others standing around. He asked them, ‘Why do you stand here all day without work?’


Now from noon until three there was darkness over all the land.


He said to them, “Y’all come and see.” They came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four in the afternoon.


Jesus answered, “Aren’t there twelve hours of daylight? If a man walks in the day, he doesn’t stumble, because he sees the light of this world.


Jacob’s well was there. Jesus was tired from his journey, so he sat down by the well. It was about noon.


At about three in the afternoon, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying to him, “Cornelius!”


The next day, as they were on their way and approaching the city, Peter went up to pray on the rooftop at about noon.


Peter and John were going up to the temple for the time of prayer at three in the afternoon.
