In Gibeon, YHWH appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask for what I should give you.”


In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed,


that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.


Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, “Y’all must cast every son who is born into the river, and y’all must let every daughter live.”


But when he had considered this, look, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because the one who has been fathered in her is from the Holy Spirit.

When Herod saw that the Magi tricked him, he was exceedingly angry and sent orders to kill all male children who were in Bethlehem and in all the surrounding countryside, from two years old and under, according to the time he had learned from the Magi.


But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in the place of his father, Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew into the region of Galilee,


They said, “Cornelius the centurion, a righteous man who fears God, and who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish ethnic group, was divinely directed by a holy angel to summon you to his house and listen to what you say.”


When the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier who was one of his attendants.


When Peter came to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord sent his angel and rescued me out of Herod’s hand and from everything the Jewish people were expecting to happen.”


Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, “Get up quickly!” And the chains fell off his hands.


The jailer reported these words to Paul, “The magistrates have sent orders to let y’all go. Now y’all can come out and leave in peace.”

The priests who bore the ark of YHWH’s covenant stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the nation had passed completely over the Jordan.


For the priests who bore the ark stood in the middle of the Jordan until everything was finished that YHWH commanded Joshua to speak to the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua; and the people hurried and passed over.


When the priests who carried the ark of YHWH’s covenant came up out of the middle of the Jordan, and the soles of the their feet had been pulled out onto the dry ground, the waters of the Jordan returned to their place, and went over all its banks as before.


The woman was given two wings of a great eagle, so that she could fly to her place in the wilderness, so that she might be nourished for a time, times, and half a time, away from the face of the serpent.


Its tail swept one third of the stars from the sky and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth it could devour her child.


The woman fled into the wilderness where she has a place prepared by God, so she would be nourished there for 1,260 days.
