Their father, Israel, said to them, “If it must be so, then y’all do this: Y’all take from the choice fruits of the land in y’all’s bags, and carry down a present for the man, a little balm, a little honey, spices and myrrh, nuts, and almonds.


She gave the king one hundred twenty talents of gold, and a very great quantity of spices, and precious stones. Never again was there such an abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.


She came to Jerusalem with a very great caravan, with camels that bore spices, very much gold, and precious stones; and when she had come to Solomon, she talked with him about all that was in her heart.


Y’all must kiss the Son, otherwise ʜᴇ will be angry, and y’all will perish on the way, For ʜɪꜱ wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in ʜɪᴍ.


All your garments smell like myrrh, aloes, and cassia. Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made you glad.


The kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.


He will live; and Sheba’s gold will be given to him. Men will pray for him continually. They will bless him all day long.


Come y’all, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before YHWH, our Maker,


“Also take fine spices: of liquid myrrh, five hundred shekels; and of fragrant cinnamon half as much, even two hundred and fifty; and of fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;


YHWH said to Moses, “Take to yourself sweet spices, gum resin, onycha, and galbanum: sweet spices with pure frankincense. There must be an equal weight of each.


Who is this who comes up from the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all spices of the merchant?

Now the birth of Jesus Christ happened this way: His mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit.


While he was still speaking to the crowds, his mother and his brothers stood outside, wanting to talk to him.


Those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “You are truly the Son of God!”


When they saw the star, they rejoiced with great, overwhelming joy.


“Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in its rising and have come to worship him.”


So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the feeding trough.


At that moment, she came up to them and began to give thanks to God and to speak of the child to everyone who was expectantly awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem.


Nicodemus, who had first come to Jesus at night, also came bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, weighing about a hundred pounds.


I fell down before his feet to worship him. He said to me, “Look! Don’t do this! I am a fellow slave with you and with your siblings who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, because the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.”

But certain worthless fellows said, “How could this man save us?” They despised him, and brought him no tribute. But he held his peace.
