But the things that come out of the mouth proceed from the heart, and these are what defile a human.


because it doesn’t go into their heart, but into their stomach, then out of the body?” (Thus, all foods are clean.)


The good human produces good from the good treasure in their heart, while the evil person produces evil from evil treasure in their heart. For out of the abundance of the heart, one’s mouth speaks.


“Foods for the stomach, and the stomach for foods, but God will do away with both.” The body, however, is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body.


The tongue is also a fire, a world of evil set among the parts of our body. It defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of our existence, and is itself set on fire by hell.
