Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me.


Someone said to him, “Look, your mother and your brothers stand outside, wanting to talk to you.”


He stretched out his hand toward his disciples, and said, “Look, my mother and my brothers!


“Why were y’all looking for me?” he replied. “Didn’t y’all know I had to be in my Father’s house?”


And Jesus continued to progress in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and humans.


From now on, we don’t view anyone from a fleshly perspective. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, but now we no longer know him that way.


He said of his father, and of his mother, ‘I have not seen him.’ He didn’t acknowledge his brothers, nor did he know his own children; for they have observed your word, and keep your covenant.
