Now when they had departed, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.”


So when the people had gathered, Pilate said to them, “Who is it that y’all want me to release for y’all? Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”


Pilate said to them, “What then should I do to Jesus who is called Christ?” They all said to him, “Crucify him!”


Isn’t this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James, Joses, Judah, and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” So they were offended by him.
