They rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. As they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Y’all listen to me, Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem! Establish your trust in YHWH y’all’s God and y’all will be established! Establish your trust in ʜɪꜱ prophets, and y’all will succeed.”


He said to them, “Because y’all have so little faith. For truly I tell y’all, if y’all have faith as small as a grain of mustard seed, y’all can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for y’all.”


While he was saying these things to them, a synagogue official came and bowed down before him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”


Then one of the rulers of the synagogue, named Jairus, came, and seeing Jesus, he fell at his feet


He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”


Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’? All things are possible to him who believes.”


But when Jesus heard this, he said to him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”


Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”
